Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20 ESV)

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." (Acts 1:8 ESV)

At Ensley Baptist Church, we take our Lord’s instruction about spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ Seriously. It starts at home (at Ensley Baptist Church) and expands outward from there.  While all Christians are called to this task, we also recognize that God calls others to vocational service throughout the world. Below is a list of missionaries we support:

Rev. Mel & Sally Boerema – Serving in Canada with North American Indian Mission

Tim & Rebecca Hawkins – Serving in England with Cadence International to Servicement

Daniel & Ruth Kennison – Serving in Chile with Ripe for the Harvest World Outreach

Steve & Sue Mayo – Serving in Australia and other areas with Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE)

Dr. Philip & Becky McDonald – Based out of Grand Rapids, MI, serving in the leadership of Closed Door Ministries.

Katheryn Miller – Serving in Niger with Faith Baptist Mission.

Rev. John & Betty Teusink – Serving in Togo with Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE).

Two other missionary families serving in sensitive areas.

Ken Floyd / Michigan Association of Regular Baptist Churches (Grand Rapids, MI)
